The 2018 edition of A&T stands true to this year’s acronym which is changing from Affidablità e Tecnologie [Reliability & Technologies] to “Automation & Testing”.
One of the most awaited new features we are involved in is Industry 4.0, an actual smart factory condensed into 500 square meters within A&T: eight automated and digitized workstations will create a personalized gadget for each visitor.
Visitors are accompanied on a 20-minute journey which provides them with concrete information on methods, technologies and innovative solutions for the world of industrial production. At the end of the journey the visitor can pick up the keyring they ordered which was produced along the way by the smart factory, an aluminum design object printed in 3D with their name engraved with laser technology.
Industry 4.0 will demonstrate how to innovate production processes thanks to the following methods and technologies:
- Custom production (Mass Customization)
- Virtual reality
- Process development and waste management
- Real-time monitoring
- Interconnection among machines
- Digitization of the business tools
With the Smart Factory 4.0 demo, all visitors can discover the tangible benefits offered by the new production paradigm characterized by the following qualities:
- Production efficiency and flexibility
- Product innovation
- Increase in quality and reliability
- Reduction of general costs
- Total control of each phase of production
Protocube Reply will be responsible for the links in the chain related to virtual reality and to the 3D configuration of the production order.
Come and visit us, we look forward to seeing you from April 18th to the 20th at Oval Lingotto (Via Nizza 294, Turin). A&T is open from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm.
